Professional Experience

My journey in the counseling field began in 2009 when I joined Chester River Behavioral Health as an Alcohol and Drug Trainee. During this time, I provided both individual and group counseling for clients navigating challenges related to substance use. This early experience solidified my passion for supporting individuals through their unique journeys to healing and growth.

In 2013, I earned my licensure as a Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland. From 2013 to 2015, I worked at Community Behavioral Health in Centreville, MD, offering individual, group, and couples counseling. My role also included providing school-based counseling services for children in Queen Anne's County Public Schools, where I gained invaluable insights into supporting young people in their educational environments.

By 2015, I achieved licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland and returned to Chester River Behavioral Health. There, I focused on individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of my clients. This chapter of my career deepened my understanding of life’s complexities across various stages of development and empowered me to support clients facing an array of challenges.

As of 2025, I have transitioned to independent practice, a step that allows me to provide therapy services with even greater flexibility and a more personalized approach.

I am a proud member of the American Counseling Association and hold the distinction of being a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am continually engaged in professional development to remain at the forefront of best practices in the field, ensuring that my clients receive the highest level of care.

Philosophy of Care

Every individual carries unique strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My approach to therapy is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and empowerment, ensuring that each person feels valued, understood, and supported in their journey. Therapy is not just about addressing challenges but about fostering self-awareness, confidence, and deeper connections—with oneself and others.

Guided by a trauma-informed and integrative perspective, I tailor therapeutic modalities to fit each individual’s needs, recognizing that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. My role is to create a safe space where clients can explore their experiences, build upon their strengths, and step into their authentic selves with confidence. Therapy is not just about addressing symptoms but about fostering self-awareness, empowerment, and deeper connections with oneself and others.

I use a combination of therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and motivational interviewing, to find the right fit for your unique needs.  I am deeply honored by the trust my clients place in me. In the therapeutic space, trust is the foundation of meaningful progress, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Every individual’s journey is unique, and I am committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and effective care that fosters healing and growth
